ABOUT ME:
Gabriela (b. 2000, Quito, Ecuador) is an interdisciplinary artist, sound designer and creative technologist working in composition, sound design (for linear and non-linear media), sound art, installation & media art. They are a Berklee College of Music graduate with a B.M in Electronic Production & Design and pursing a M.M in Music Technology at NYU.
She is also serves as a current member of New York based Industrial Rock group People Control handing keyboards/synthesizers and playback technology.

Throughout their undergraduate studies she participated in various performances as an accomplished pianist, keyboardist and synthesist, specialising in contemporary styles like jazz, fusion and ambient; additionally she has performed in notable venues such as the Metropolitan Theatre, Medellin, Teatro Libre, Bogotá, the Berklee Performance Centre and The Loft @ Berklee (United States) and played events like the ARP 2600 Symposium alongside artists like Herbie Hancock and Jean Michelle Jarre.
During her time at Berklee she was mentored by Richard Boulanger, Neil Leonard, & Matthew Davidson, additionally having the chance to study with
Suzanne Ciani, Lisa Bella Donna and Richard Devine; she also formerly played keyboards for various Boston-based bands.
